Personality: Awkward at times, but easily gripes at a person. None too sociable and prefers to be left alone. Irritable, sarcastic, cynical(without meaning to be), and a bit of a pessimist. He tries to act more proper at work though. For the most part at least. Has a totally different personality when around his mother though. Suddenly becomes loving and uber nice, and very helpful and polite.

History: He lives alone with his mother (who he refers to as "mum"). His mother is an Irish immigrant. He was born and raised in Illinois though, so he doesn't know any Irish words and doesn't have an accent either. His mom is a shut-in and never leaves the house. She makes money from mending or sewing clothes for people and works at home. His mother also sews all his clothes. She's the one who cleans the house, cooks the food, and washes the clothes. Keefe does the groceries, the gardening, house maintenance, and he hangs the laundry out to dry. They don't always have enough money so Keefe does a lot of part-time jobs to help his mother.
He has a condition called "Ptosis", which is a drooping of the eye lid. He hasn't had it treated properly, so it's starting to give him astigmatism. It totally doesn't bother him though, and he lives his life normally.
Though he loves his mother very much, he keeps a certain secret from her. The truth is, he is a bit of a delinquent. He purposely doesn't do too well in class, only doing as much as what would make him pass, and he hates PE and half-asses it. However the real problem is that, he gets into a lot of fights. He's not necessarily good at fighting, but getting into fights for years now, he knows how to take a punch and doesn't go down easily. When he comes home injured or bruised, he excuses that he just had a slight accident because he didn't see where he was going because of his bad eye.
When one would ask him why he gets into fights, he'll reason it's cause he's been bullied at school for as long as he could remember, and finally, during his last few years of elementary, he got sick of it and started fighting back.
Why does he get picked on? He's pale, a little short, is a mama's boy, and used to be quite the weakling. The only thing that's made him stronger is his persistence in his refusal to be beaten down all the time.
He doesn't really have any friends but puts effort into getting along with the people he works with or for.

Random Trivia: His weight is roughly that of a petite girl with his height. (AKA He's underweight.) Plus he's pale. No wonder he gets bullied.
